High precision meets high ambition

When innovation meets precision, extraordinary projects are born. That’s why FORMAT is supporting Team Sonnenwagen Aachen – a student initiative at Aachen University of Applied Sciences and RWTH Aachen University – with high-quality tools for the construction of a solar-powered racing car.

FORMAT is the brand for innovators. Team Sonnenwagen Aachen develops technologies for the future and therefore needs tools that meet high standards. With over 15,000 products, FORMAT offers the variety required for such a demanding project. The tools are used throughout the entire production process of the racing car and impress the team wherever maximum precision is required.

After a year and a half of development and five months of production, the fifth Sonnenwagen was presented at the end of May.

We are proud to be part of this journey and are keeping our fingers crossed for the start of the race in August!
