FORMAT step drill set
Burr-free drilling and reaming up to a material thickness of 6 mm and deburring up to 1.5 mm are no longer a problem with the FORMAT step drill set. Materials such as sheet metal, pipes and profiles can be processed with the tool without burrs or chatter marks – both in the hand drill and in the pillar drill.
During work, the 3-face shank prevents slipping in the drill chuck and the laser marking remains legible even when the tool is rotating. The use of drilling paste when using the tool can also increase its service life. More information on tool life can be found in our last practical knowledge post.
